Description
• The Targus Universal Docking Station w/ Digital Audio is designed to connect to any notebook with a USB port. Simply plug in the USB cable to connect a network, keyboard, mouse, printer, speakers or other external peripherals. The digital audio connection transforms your DVDs or music into virtual surround sound for an in-home theater experience. Other unique features include two high-power USB ports providing twice as much power as a standard USB port, which allows you to connect USB devices with higher power requirements. In addition, these two ports have the Targus exclusive “Always On” technology which keeps the ports powered, even if the notebook is shut down or disconnected, so you can continuously charge your digital devices. The Universal Docking Station also includes anti-theft slot locks enabling the user to attach a Targus DEFCON® Security Cable Lock for added security. The innovative ID design allows for natural cooling of the notebook and provides an ergonomic and comfortable typing platform.
• The Targus USB 2.0 Docking Station provides instant peripheral device attachment via a single USB connection to Windows notebook computers. The expansion module enables your notebook computer to gain instant plug and play connections with multiple input/output USB and peripheral devices. The docking station also features Targus Always On technology, Targus USB Power Port providing twice the USB specification for higher power requirement devices, and USB ports that are widely spaced to accommodate larger adapters. Targus Always On provides power to the USB ports even when the notebook is shut-down, disconnected from the docking station or in hibernate/ stand-by mode. This allows USB devices that charge via the USB port to keep charging under any circumstance. Finally, the slot lock and the universal lock support provided help you secure your docking station to your desktop.
